Hibiscus Tester Makes Round-up

I’m delighted to share all the gorgeous Hibiscus tops and dresses with you my lovely testers made during the testing phase! You can see here again how different the pattern looks in drapey and more structured fabric.

I don’t take their engagement for granted so I’m truely thankful for all their support and the time and effort they put into sewing such stunning garments!

Who?

Bernice @sewbee73 made not only one but three versions of this pattern during the testing phase – it’s such a quick make! Two versions made it to the blog.

Version 3

Her impression of the pattern:

This is a cute and feminine dress and top that is easy to sew. The ruffle at the shoulder and back is a special detail. The versions without the ruffle are good basics.

Her impression of the pattern:

This is a fun and quick top that is perfect for your summer wardrobe. It skims the body perfectly! You can make this top even more versatile by wearing it as a vest or pinafore in the autumn and winter months over a tight fitting long sleeve top or turtleneck sweater. You’ll love wearing it!

Version 4

Her impression of the pattern:

It’s an easy make. You can use the version without the ruffle casually at the beach or in the garden but easily dress it up a bit with a white t-shirt underneath and go for a casual lunch, with loads of room for eating yummi food 😉 Or just add the ruffle for a more dressed up and feminine look.

Her impression of the pattern:

I love the style of this top! The ruffles and racer back are a great detail. This pattern goes together quickly. One of the best PDF patterns I’ve printed at home, everything lines up, no cutting to match corners!

Great pattern for a basic tank! I can see myself making this loads as a workout top or as a casual tank for summer with the ruffles.
